Good Luck Keychain
This is a keychain that I made for a friend some time ago. When I just graduated from uni, I joined an international audit firm and met Lee. One month later, I quit because another international audit firm offered me higher pay. So many years later, both of us no longer work in audit firms and when we met again, it was in my current company. She is leaving for a better future and I am there to replace her. Haha. How funny, huh? I told Lee that it's not easy for 2 persons to be colleagues twice in a life time although the period is short (less than 1 month every time). Before she left the company, I gave her this keychain to wish her good luck in her future undertakings.

Colourful Spring-Summer Wedding Theme
After the previous wedding themed miniature set, my cousin ordered another miniature set for another friend who is going to get married soon.
This time, we decided to make a very colourful spring-summer theme.

Happy Birthday, Florence!
How I met Florence? I got to know her when I was in Form 6. Attending Form 6 was a nightmare to me at that moment, not to mention the orientation part! However, there was one particular classmate of mine who always carried a big bright smile whenever I saw her. She shared to me her experience of living away from home, how she had to eat "babi ber-carrot" (pork cooked with carrot) everyday and how she missed home... As a person who had never left home before, I admired her. I love her stories! After a few months, I got an offer from a polytechnic and left Form 6 but I still kept in touch with Florence by writing letters. How amazing, right? We didn't have any mobile phones, email addresses or FB last time but we still managed to keep in touch!
When we entered the mobile phones era, she was studying in Penang while I was in Malacca. I remember I called her once and while talking to her, I could hear the sound of water running from the water tap and the brushing sound. I jokingly asked Florence - You can't be washing toilets as part-time eh? She answered - Eh, I am really washing toilet as part-time now! How do you know that? I was like - OMG! That was so hilarious! Haha.
Several years ago, I gave Florence some roses cupcakes as birthday gift. To my surprise, she didn't eat the cupcakes! She kept them inside the fridge! She said she couldn't bear to eat the beautiful cupcakes. So this year, I decided to make her cakes that she can keep forever :)

Pink and Purple Wedding Miniatures
During a CNY family gathering, my cousin told me that her friend will be getting married soon and she would like to order a miniature set for her friend. Since her friend doesn't have any particular favourite colours, we agreed to use the very typical girlish colours for the miniature set - pink and purple!
When I was preparing my wedding 4 years ago, I always dreamt of having a tall, elegant and beautiful wedding cake. However, due to budget constraint, my dream never came true. That's why I love doing miniature wedding cake because I am allowed to incorporate my creativity and dreams into it.

Ending the Year of 2012 with Pink Roses
I haven't been updating my blog for quite some time. I was away for a short break but ended up getting even more exhausted than before. Haha. Today is the final day of year 2012. Year 2012 has been a turning point for me as I resigned after working for the same firm for 8 years. Ya, I have been jobless since August 2012 but I feel so much happier! I actually enjoy my life as a housewife very much!
Before the year ends, I made myself a new keychain and a anti-dust plug for my new iPhone 5.
I have always loved roses, especially pink roses.

Name Plaque - The "A" Sisters
These plaques are meant for Christmas gifts from an aunt to her nieces. All the nieces' names start with an "A". How interesting...
I have got customers asking me if I bake the plaque together with the clay as well? The answer is no. Haha. I use air-dry clay for the background hence the plaque does not need to go into the oven. As for the decorative items, they have to be baked as I am using FIMO oven-bake clay. After everything is ready, I will assemble and glue the decorative items onto the plaque.

DIY iPhone Casing Decoration
Some time ago, I found some nice Marc Jacob daisies from a handphone accessories booth. The daisies were really gorgeous and I matched them with a champagne gold casing. Recently, this casing has finally broken off. I managed to buy two new ones and the above is one of them. I love the lace details and the heart shape opening for the camera. Few days ago, a friend suggested that I can actually decorate phone casings with my clay stuff and sell them! That's a brilliant idea but I am not too keen in selling them at the moment as clay tends to break or chip off if you're not a careful person. I wouldn't say that clay is fragile as it's still harder than glass but still... it's not meant for heavy-duty usage. Anyway, I shall just try at least once and see how long it can sustain.

Anti-Dust Plugs
Do you like to collect anti-dust plugs? I do but most of the plugs found in KK are mostly heavily bling-ed or too childish for my likings. After starting playing with clay, I decided I might as well do my own anti-dust plugs.

Miniature Birthday Set
Few days ago, I received an order from my ex-colleagues to make a miniature birthday set for another colleague. We have no idea what the birthday girl likes apart from cute soft toys. Since the girls let me to decide what to make, I decided to make something sweet for the birthday girl.
