It has been some time since I last updated my blog. Haha. Ya, I am still working on my mini cake house, slowly.

Busy with lace... I am trying to add lace curtains to my mini cake house.

Pink & Purple Cuppies

After thinking for some time, I decided to fix the theme colours of my mini cake house as pink and purple.

Putting the cuppies onto the shelves now! Yes, I know the last shelf hasn't been filled up yet. I am gonna fill it up with something else.

Another 2 smaller cabinets are completed today.

I have also raised the platform of the cake house.

Mini Cabinet - Version 2.0

Ever since I made my first wooden shelves with the wood plaques I bought from Daiso, friends keep telling me that it needs to be smoothened by using sand papers. Well, not that I don't know but I just wanted to keep it "raw" as I am thinking to make something else to replace it. 

I had things playing in my mind but I wasn't sure if it's going to work. I made a draft of a cabinet and started doing it over the weekend.

Experimenting With Something Different

I am thinking of a way to refine/improve them. Hmmm...

Will be back after doing some research.

The Grand Opening of Gin's Mini Pancake House

After resting for 9 months, I will start working on next Monday. Gosh... I can't believe that I have rested for 9 months! It seems like I have just resigned from my previous job yesterday! Am I ready to get back to work? Yes... I am more than ready but before I start working, I thought I would like to start a new project. Since my new job requires me to work on Saturdays, I'd better do something easier such as mini pancakes :)

I love pancakes so much, be it the sweet ones or the savoury ones. Who can say no to a plate of fluffy pancakes?

Mini Kitchen & New York Cheesecake

I have been very demotivated recently hence not productive with clay works. I tried to cheer up myself by thinking of a new project. Ever since I started playing with clay, I collected many mini items.

Chinese New Year is around the corner and I am very in the CNY mood! I have always wanted to buy those canned abalones but they are sooooo expensive!

I know I can't have the real ones but I can make fake and mini ones. Haha. Happy CNY :)

The Classic Dim Sum

When I just started the dim sum project, many asked me to make har kaw and siew mai but I told them I wanna save the best for last. Does it mean this is my last batch of dim sum? Erm, not really... I guess I will keep doing dim sum till Chinese New Year but I am currently out of ideas of what kind of dim sum I am supposed to make :p

I just discovered how much I love making mini dim sum! It's not that they are easier to make but simply because I love eating dim sum :P

I woke up with gastric today. I thought I wanted to rest for one day but since my passion for making mini dim sum is going strong now, I'd better keep it moving. Haha. 

I wanted to try something different before I make the classic ones like siew mai and har kaw, hence I made the above.

After doing yesterday's sushi platters, I told myself that I have had enough of rice and noodles! I must move on and try something else! 

Today, I re-arranged the mini Japanese food in the mini display cabinet to make it look "full" so that I can tell myself that the mini Japanese food project is completed. Haha. So, what's my next project?

Honestly, I got bored with making mini Japanese food already. I am so sick of making salmon, rice grains and noodles already but my mini display cabinet is not full yet! Haiz... I guess it's time to make some sushi.
