Hello Kitty Cake

When I just received this order, I was in dilemma. Should I or should I not? If you have been following my clay stuff from the very beginning, you'll realize that I rarely do cartoon characters. I will avoid as much as I can. It's not that I don't like cartoon characters. It's just that it's so difficult to make it 100% alike.

I tried to look for ideas on the Internet. The more I looked, the more reluctant I was. Oh, no... How can I avoid doing the cat's face but still people will know it's Hello Kitty? Not possible... Hmmm...

Finally, I decided to make the bows to represent Hello Kitty but that's not good enough hence I made macaroons that resemble Hello Kitty. 

After struggling for some time, I finally completed the Hello Kitty cake! 

This is a very pinkish and girlish cake.

Still can't avoid making the cat's face... Haha. I hope the recipient will like it :)
